Free pre-rinse spray valve offer for Sydney Water customers

Sydney Water, through their Every Drop Counts Business Program, is offering to replace up to three pre-rinse spray valves per customer with a water efficient Smart Rinse valve, valued at more than $300 each. These not only clean dishes more efficiently, but use about 40% less water, reducing your water and energy bills (from hot water heating). To find out more, call them on 1800 622 695.

 

Funding available for energy and water saving initiatives

Round 2 of the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Public Facilities Program closed on 30 April 2009.  This program provided funding for energy and water saving initiatives. Round 3 has not been announced yet. To be notified when the next round opens, email your contact details to

   

Funding available for solar power

Clubs, being not for profit should be eligible as community organisations to apply for funding for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems under the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, Solar Homes and Community Plan. To find out more, call them on 1800 808 571.

  

Funding available for beverage container recycling initiatives
